Looking after your kids for the weekend and in need of some inspiration? Or perhaps you’re just trying to find a present for the Dad in your life? Either way, The Dad Shop is the place to go. We specialise in practical, purposeful and fun ‘tools of the trade’ that both parents and kids can enjoy together.
Does all this talk of Dads have horrible ‘manosphere’ undercurrents? Absolutely not! Everything in our shop is suitable for both girls and boys. Mums and non-parents are entirely welcome here too. We actually believe that The Dad Ship is an intensely feminist project, in that few things will advance the cause of gender equality faster than a generation of engaged fathers.
Alongside our retail operations we seek to cultivate a community – both online and in person – highlighting resources and running regular events that increase awareness, build customer loyalty, and share parenting skills.
We also commit to giving 10% of our profits each year to support prostate cancer research. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. A staggering one in every eight men in the UK will get it during their lifetimes. If you’re over 50 or Black then the risk level is even higher. Tragically it kills about 10,000 men every year. We hope our success can play a small part in helping to drive down those statistics.
